MY EXPERIENCE IN HOSTEL

DPSRU has a hostel in its own campus. As we all know, hostel life is very interesting and is the best part of our growing up days. The greatest blessing of hostel is independence. Initially, I found entirely new atmosphere of hostel and failed to choose good companions. Later, I acquired qualities from good students and got inspiration for studying well.

There are strict rules and regulations in hostel. Our warden and matron are very cooperative.

We do late night studies before examinations. Maggi is our life-line. We do cut maggi instead of cake on our birthdays. Party is our hostel anthem. We became masters of conning, jugad and masti. Nights are fun in hostel, where we gossip, play games, dance and party. Doesn’t matter in which field we are doing graduation, we will end up becoming an expert in philosophy to broken hearts, warnings and lectures. There is a love guru, solution queen among my friends.

I wear pajamas in college like a boss. I have became down to earth that cold drinks, milk shakes, momos and chowmien are luxury for me. I used to search free wifi in the campus when bored. I have developed caring and loving nature by staying away from my family and comforts. I miss “ Maa ke haath ka khaana”. I have became a responsible student. Friends and roommates have become an important part of my life.
